Subhadra Yojana: Key Features, Eligibility Rules, Benefits and Online Status Check

Subhadra Yojana

A large share of Odisha’s women depend on unstable household income, and surveys show that many still do not have regular access to formal financial tools. With the Subhadra Yojana targeting nearly one crore beneficiaries and providing ₹50,000 over five years, the scheme helps bridge this gap.

Is it really helpful, and what are the eligibility criteria for the Subhadra Yojana scheme?

Let’s see!

What is Subhadra Yojana?

The Subhadra Yojana is a flagship Odisha government scheme launched for women’s empowerment, providing ₹10,000 annually (₹5,000 twice a year) for five years, totalling ₹50,000.

The amount is transferred directly into eligible women’s bank accounts through a Subhadra Debit Card. Named after Goddess Subhadra, the scheme supports financial independence, digital literacy and overall socio-economic progress.
